Dingmans campground

1. Dingmans Campground is a concessionaire for the National Park Service within the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area and in accordance with Park policy we are a DRY campground, alcohol and drugs are prohibited.

2. Quiet hours are from 10pm to 6am. During this time, guests should keep noise levels low enough so they are not heard by surrounding sites.

​

3. Excessive lighting is also prohibited during quiet hours. Please make sure your lights are mostly contained within your campsite. Lights should not be bright enough to bother other guests around you. 

​

4. We take pride in the cleanliness of our campground and ask that you do too. Please, remove all trash produced during your stay, by placing it inside our trash dumpsters. Any campsites left with excessive garbage/litter will be charged a clean-up fee. Guests that receive a cleaning fee can request photos of the site, if they wish to challenge the fee. Please, treat our grounds respectfully.

 

5. We also take pride in keeping our bathhouses clean. Please, close the bathrooms doors and turn out the lights if you are the last one to exit a bathhouse. This will keep bugs from getting inside.

6. We love pets of all kinds and welcome them at the campground, but all pets must be on a leash at all times. This is for the safety and comfort of other guests and all of our pets. 

​

7. All guests must check in and check out by stopping at the front office.

​

8. Due to the risks of spreading pests and other organisms, only locally sourced firewood, or properly packaged and kilned, firewood is allowed. We sell firewood at the camp store as well.

​

9. Parking passes must be displayed at all times. During check in, each vehicle in your group will receive a pass. Please keep the pass displayed throughout the duration of your stay.

10. All visitors must register with the office. Having friends join you is fine by us! Just make sure they check in too, so we remain aware of all of the guests on our property.

​

11. Generators are prohibited. Sorry for the inconvenience, but the noises from external generators may disturb other guests during their stay.

​

12. Campfires must be kept small and within the designated fire ring. Please do not move the rings around the campsite. If you feel they need to be cleaned out, please alert our staff and we will assist. 

​

13. While you may see some wild animals during your stay, feeding or otherwise interacting with them is prohibited. This is for the safety of our guests and the animals themselves. If animals become too comfortable around humans they can become a nuisance.

14. Our speed limit is 5 mph. Please, go slow! Not only for the safety of all of our guests, but also to limit the amount of dust kicked up during drier periods. 

 

We know this list seems daunting, but these rules are mostly common sense and help protect everyone and ensure that everyone has a safe and fun time. Enjoy your stay and let the staff know if you need anything during your stay!

A cualquier campamento que quede con exceso de basura se le cobrará una tarifa de limpieza. Los huéspedes que reciben una tarifa de limpieza pueden solicitar fotos del sitio, si desean impugnar la tarifa. Por favor, trate nuestros terrenos con respeto.

5. También estamos orgullosos de mantener limpias nuestras casas de baños. Por favor, cierre las puertas de los baños y apague las luces si es el último en salir de una casa de baños. Esto evitará que los insectos entren.
6. Nos encantan las mascotas de todo tipo y les damos la bienvenida al campamento, pero todas las mascotas deben estar atadas en todo momento. Esto es por la seguridad y comodidad de otros huéspedes y de todas nuestras mascotas.

7. Todos los huéspedes deben registrarse y salir pasando por la oficina principal.

8. Debido al riesgo de propagación de plagas y otros organismos, solo se permite leña de origen local o leña debidamente empaquetada y horneada. También vendemos leña en la tienda del campamento.

9. Los pases de estacionamiento deben exhibirse en todo momento. Durante el check-in, cada vehículo de su grupo recibirá un pase. Mantenga el pase a la vista durante su estancia.

10. Todos los visitantes deben registrarse en la oficina. ¡Que nuestros amigos se unan a usted está bien para nosotros! Solo asegúrese de que ellos también se registren, para que estemos al tanto de todos los huéspedes en nuestra propiedad.

11. Están prohibidos los generadores. Disculpe las molestias, pero los ruidos de los generadores externos pueden molestar a otros huéspedes durante su estancia.

12. Las fogatas deben mantenerse pequeñas y dentro del área designada para el fuego. Por favor, no mueva los anillos por el camping. Si cree que es necesario limpiarlos, avise a nuestro personal y le ayudaremos.

13. Si bien es posible que vea algunos animales salvajes durante su estadía, está prohibido alimentarlos o interactuar de otra manera con ellos. Esto es por la seguridad de nuestros huéspedes y de los propios animales. Si los animales se sienten demasiado cómodos con los humanos, pueden convertirse en una molestia.

14. Nuestro límite de velocidad es de 5 mph. ¡Por favor, ve despacio! No solo por la seguridad de todos nuestros huéspedes, sino también para limitar la cantidad de polvo que se levanta durante los períodos más secos.
