Welcome to Dingmans Campground 2010 Season!

New for 2010 at Dingmans Campground:

• RECESSION PRICING!! No price increases again for 2010.
• Completed McDade Recreational Trail! Most of the trail segments are now complete. The NPS will be installing bridges over creeks this spring. We are anticipating approximately 6 miles of usable trail to the north of Dingmans Campground, and 12 miles to the south. Bring the family, bring the bicycles and come enjoy this spectacular enhancement to the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area!
• Water & Electric Campsites! This project is scheduled for the fall of 2010. Improvements will include approximately 30 forest campsites with water and 50 amp electric hook-ups for large RV•s, Travel Trailers and Fifth Wheels. An additional 38 forest campsites will have water and 20 amp electric hook-ups for Pop-Up Trailers and Tents. We are hopeful these improvements will be completed by late 2010. Please check back with us in for updates and pricing.
• Water Spigot at the Riverfront Area! This was installed this past Fall, and is a convenient enhancement for our Riverfront campers who need water for cooking and dishes.

Dingmans Campground is a unique 133-site rustic campground located in the scenic Pocono Mountains in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania. The campground property is in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area (DWGNRA). Dingmans Campground offers a variety of camping settings, with prime campsites along the banks of the Delaware River, spacious forest campsites and picturesque meadow campsites.

The DWGNRA offers endless opportunities for outdoor recreation for the whole family. Within a few minutes drive of the campground, there are numerous waterfall attractions, historical sites and quality hiking trails. Some of the most scenic stretches of the Appalachian Trail (AT) are only a few miles away in New Jersey. Canoeing and Kayaking on the Delaware River are popular and enjoyable activities. Dingmans Campground operates a convenient Canoe and Kayak livery service, offering river trips through the Spring, Summer and Fall. Our river trips are open to the public as well as our campers, with free parking provided. Several river trips are offered daily.
